“I thought we had valuable contributions from everyone tonight,” stated Head Coach Anita Heier.  “Our guards played well together to break the press and our posts rebounded well at both ends of the floor.  The Titans made a run at the end of the game, but our girls stepped up and made free throws down the stretch to hold on for the win.  It was a great way to start the season.”

The Tigers were led by Kenadi Carlsrud with 21 points and Madison Tillman with 15 rebounds.  Bethany Danielson and Lisa Kjelgaard added 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Rothsay (1-0) will hit the road on Thursday for a game against Lake Park-Audubon.
